We're back....

Well, it was an interesting vacation, but God is good! The weather, once again, was not that great. Last year it rained all week. This year, well, it rained. But not as often as last year. We had one nice day, which I totally believe was God's doing. We went to Santa's village on Saturday, and according to one of the employees, it was raining on his way in to work, but once he got there he noticed that there wasn't a drop of rain in the sky. In fact, the sun was out. God kept the rain away for us, and I am so grateful. We had a great time at SV. Once we got back to the house, though, the heavens opened and rained poured and thunder rumbled, but that's ok... we were safe and sound in our vacation home.
Here are some pics...

One is of the kids at Pirate's Cove Mini Golf; the other is on the roller coaster at SV.

We ended up leaving early because of the weather. Good thing, too. I hear the weather went from bad to worse after we left. Not to mention we had tornado warnings in my town (unbeknownst to us, though) and the heavens opened with rain and incredible thunder and lightning just as the last suitcase was being carried into our home. I danced in the rain that day. Just because.

As a consolation prize to the kids, we went to Canobie Lake Park on Friday. The kids had a blast there. My oldest son is a roller coaster junkie LOL

I now have return-from-vacationitis...you know, when you need a vacation from your vacation!
